Monthly meetings of the Greenspun-Radio Post 21 and the Womens Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of American gather together to meet and take care of business; in hopes of staying in touch with the needs of the veterans from previous wars who are disabled and homeless. The meetings discuss the needs and changes of helping and taking care of our vets in need. Those present at the meeting are like family; a small breakfast starts the morning off, followed by a short meeting and then a program of either a guest speaker or entertainer and this past Sunday, we were given a top-notch performance by Billy Fisher, originally from the “Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame’, city of Cleveland. Billy now has relocated to Las Vegas to pursue his dream of showcasing his ability to imitate the artists of 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, and that he did and ending his performance with a moving song to our veterans. We’d like to invite other war veterans, spouses of veterans as well as patrons to consider coming as a guest to see what we’re all about. Please call Commander, Bob Greene at 702 256-1213 for more information.
