Parade to be held on River Walk on May 18

The eighth annual Armed Forces River Parade will be held May 18 on the San Antonio River Walk on Armed Forces Day to honor those who have served and who are serving in the military.
The parade theme, Salute Our Heroes, will feature 25 patriotic floats centered around the elite forces of each branch and the many sacrifices made by those who serve and their families.
The grand marshal for the parade will be U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett.
