Let me tell you about the Children’s Service Guild. We have been helping the children of Clark County for 49 years and are one of Las Vegas’ oldest philanthropic groups. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children in Child Haven and ones touched by the Family Court System. This is a responsibility not taken lightly by the Guild and we consider this assistance a necessity.
From January to November we work hard on unique creations, handmade crafts and kitchen goodies for our main fundraiser of the year which is The Annual Holiday Craft Boutique & Raffle. This yearly fundraiser is held on the first Saturday in November at the Elks Lodge at 4100 W. Charleston Blvd. Mark your calendars for November 3, 2018, 9am – 2pm to join us in helping the children. Free admission and parking. This will be our 44th year to hold this event, with 100% of the proceeds and donations going to the children we support.
We, The Guild, have 40+ members and are proud to be an all-volunteer organization. Through the Guild members’ tireless work, fundraising and donations, we are able to enrich their lives with medical, dental and vision care, clothing, toys, school supplies, a new playground, holiday parties and so much more. All of this helps provide these children with positive reinforcement, rewards, incentives and fun that many have never experienced.
